Laminate Flooring Care

Laminate flooring was made for modern families. It requires virtually no maintenance and cleaning up spills couldn't be easier.
Caring for laminate flooring is much less time consuming and labor intensive compared to other flooring types because of the material you are working with. Cleaning is usually a breeze and generally does not require the expensive cleaning products to get the job done.

Some points to keep in mind to ensure your laminate floor stays in top condition for years to come:
· For major cleaning jobs, mop with ammonia or a mixture of vinegar and water.
· Don't use conventional soap-based cleaners. If possible, look for citrus-based cleaners.
· Never use scouring powder, steel wool or wax strippers on a laminate floor.
· Never wax, sand or apply lacquer to a laminate floor surface.
· If you're unsure of using any product on your laminate floor, test it in an inconspicuous area first - such as underneath your stove or fridge.

Bamboo Flooring Care

• Color variations in bamboo are a natural occurrence. Therefore, color, grain or texture
differences are not defects. Also, for these reasons, new and or replacement flooring may not match samples or existing flooring.
• Improper storage, handling and installation are not covered by this warranty.
• Normal exposure to sunlight will bring about changes in the shading of bamboo as it ages.
• Tracked-in dirt, sand, and similar gritty materials act like sandpaper and can damage your floor finish. Entry rugs will minimize this, as will proper vacuuming and maintenance. Do not use wax or any other cleaner that must be mixed with water as this may dull your floor and void your warranty.
• Damage due to water or moisture, including wet mopping, is excluded from Xingli’s
warranties.
• Indentations, surface scratches, stains or damage caused by negligence are excluded from our warranties. Furniture should have proper felt protectors and glide so as not to damage the floor. Moving or dragging heavy objects may damage the floor and this situation is not covered under our warranty. Stiletto-type high-heel shoes may cause denting and related damage to bamboo floors.
• GL Panda bamboo prefinished floors may be refinished in a similar manner as hardwood floors. Professional commercial refinishers are capable of making your floor look like new, when it is necessary for this action to take place.
